ƒƒ is pleased to present Temporary Autonomous Zone / 2 at Galerie im Körnerpark in Berlin. The project consists of two exhibitions, Erogenous Zone and ƒƒ Collaborations, which both feature works by the feminist artist group ƒƒ and guests.

An extensive program of events including guided tours will accompany the exhibitions on Saturdays at the Kreativraum, Galerie im Körnerpark.

The Temporary Autonomous Zone is a frame for a living network of women artists. This network is formed around a constantly shifting discussion of contemporary feminist and participatory practices. Initiated and organized by ƒƒ, the Temporary Autonomous Zone has developed out of meetings between more than sixty female artists over the past few months. It creates an autonomous space to realize art projects, performances, lectures, discussions, film evenings, parties, and other events.

ƒƒ is a constantly evolving group of feminist artists founded in 2011. ƒƒ’s way of working and communicating through art grows out of collaborations and discussions in close personal contact. Artistic collaborations, communal events that involve the public, discussions, and a reconstruction of feminist histories are all equally important. ƒƒ organized the first Temporary Autonomous Zone in Vienna at Galerie Lisa Ruyter, from September to November 2012.

ƒƒ Archive

The ƒƒ Archive will be open to the public in the entrance area during opening times. Films and videos can be viewed on request.

The ƒƒ Archive brings together information on feminist/female artists and related topics. It is open for all formats: books, catalogues, magazines, fanzines, artworks, music, films and videos, posters, postcards, photos, and files. All are encouraged to donate to the ƒƒ Archive and take home a multiple in exchange. ƒƒ organizes archival discussions and initiates research that aims at shifting existing patriarchal and Euro-centric cultural narratives.

ƒƒ freut sich, Temporäre Autonome Zone / 2 in der Galerie im Körnerpark präsentieren zu können. Dieses Projekt besteht aus zwei Ausstellungen, Erogenous Zone und ƒƒ Collaborations, die Werke von Künstlerinnen der feministischen Künstlerinnengruppe ƒƒ und Gästen zeigen. Das umfangreiche Begleitprogramm, zu dem auch Führungen durch die Ausstellung gehören, findet jeden Samstag im Kreativraum der Galerie im Körnerpark statt.

Die Temporäre Autonome Zone bildet den Rahmen für ein lebendiges Netzwerk von Künstlerinnen. Es basiert auf dem offenen Austausch über zeitgenössische feministische und partizipative Praktiken. Die Temporäre Autonome Zone hat sich aus Treffen zwischen mehr als sechzig Künstlerinnen in den letzten Monaten entwickelt. Sie schafft einen autonomen Raum, in dem Kunstprojekte, Performances, Lesungen, Diskussionen, Film-Abende, Partys und andere Ereignisse stattfinden können.

ƒƒ ist eine sich ständig entwickelnde Gruppe von feministischen Künstlerinnen, die 2011 gegründet wurde. Aus Kollaborationen und Gesprächen entstehen gemeinsame künstlerische Arbeiten und Aktionen, die das Publikum mit einbeziehen; Diskussionen und die Rekonstruktion von Geschichte aus feministischer Sicht. Von September bis November 2012 organisierte ƒƒ die erste Temporäre Autonome Zone in Wien in der Galerie Lisa Ruyter.

ƒƒ Archiv

Das ƒƒ Archiv sammelt sowohl Informationen über Künstlerinnen als auch über feministische und verwandte Themen. Es ist offen für alle Formate: Bücher, Kataloge, Zeitschriften, Fanzines, Kunstwerke, Musik, Filme und Videos, Posters, Postkarten, Fotos und Daten. Alle dürfen dem ƒƒ Archiv etwas spenden und können dafür ein Multiple mitnehmen. ƒƒ organisiert archivarische Diskussionen und initiiert Forschungen, die Alternativen zu den existierenden patriarchalen und eurozentrischen kulturellen Narrationen erstellen. Das ƒƒ Archiv steht dem Publikum im Eingangsbereich zur Verfügung.
